On Wednesday the group spent another day at EGA, both teachers and students sharing learning together with the EGA community. Then in the evening the Senior Choir accompanied the EGA and Magoba groups to a performance of the Lion King. All the students loved it and we were especially lucky because after the show we were treated to a back stage tour, courtesy of one of the actors who, in an amazing coincidence is the brother of a teacher at Magoba JSS.
Thursday came all too soon and was a day of celebration but also sadness as EGA bade the group farewell. Both Magoba and EGA students spoke and performed at the leaving assembly and the Mayor of Islington concluded the ceremony by telling both groups how impressed she was with their achievements.
